About Us

Royal Oaks Elementary School serves students in PreK through fifth grades and is part of South Washington County Schools. At Royal Oaks Elementary, teachers and staff members focus on supporting students academically, socially, and emotionally.

Every school day starts with social-emotional learning time. During this time, students get to know each other and learn about respectfulness, kindness, accountability and self-control. In addition, all third through fifth-grade students are taught Advancement Via Individual Determination (AVID) strategies to help them develop organization and study skills to help improve their success at school.

Students at Royal Oaks Elementary School can take part in fine arts such as art, band, choir and orchestra. There are also a variety of clubs and activities for students to join.

Teachers at Royal Oaks Elementary School personalize learning for students by building relationships. Each student meets with their teacher before the start of the school year and teachers continue to work one-on-one with students throughout the year.

Royal Oaks Elementary School welcomes community involvement and hosts several community events during the year. The school also has an active Parent Teacher Association.
